R&D Team Leader
Begüm ŞEN DOĞAN received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemical Engineering Department from Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey in 2008 and 2011. In 2020, she received her Ph.D. degree from Micro Nanotechnology Department at METU. She worked as a Technical Sales and Business Development Engineer between 2010 and 2012 and Project Engineer between 2013 and 2014 in SC Endüstri Inc., Ankara, Turkey, In 2012, she worked as a Test Engineer in NanoMagnetics Instruments Inc. Afterwards, she joined METU BioMEMS Research Group in 2015. In January 2017, she joined Mikro Biyosistemler Inc. and now continues to work as a R&D Team Leader. She is specialized in microfluidic systems, BioMEMS chip design, surface modification methods, MEMS fabrication methods, micro/nanoscale characterization methods, microscale microbial fuel cells, renewable energy and zeolite synthesis.
